Springtime in New Hampshire !

I love MUD !
I'm in love with mud,
It's sad, I know, but true.
I just can't help but splash in it,
Or stomp a path right through.
It's sticky and it's dirty,
And it covers all my clothes.
But when I see it lying there,
A voice inside me grows......
You can't resist,
you know I'm right,
It's fun to play in mud!
Look at it just sitting there,
I really think you should!
I splatter in the grimy gloop,
I can't resist the ooze!
I run, I jump, I stamp about,
It drips into my shoes!

I've been New Hampshire in the fall and it was beautiful. Mud is squishy and it really does slip into your shoes.

I have just seen the pictures of the dear little babies in the last post. They are gorgeous!
And I bet they will love mud when they get a little bigger!

I'm beginning to think that maybe you will be taking up pottery.
Who knows, maybe you can play with mud and get payed?

Yeah, mud! I loved it as a kid, and I loved pottery clay as a grown-up. (That's the adult version of playing in mud.) Fun post, and I love that you photographed your boots.

I've left a couple of awards for you at my place, just to say Thank You for being wonderful.

I love that. Makes me eager for some mud around here.

I loved playing in the mud when I was a kid ... and more than once had my boot stuck in it and got my socks muddy as a result. Now I have dogs and it has become the enemy! lol

Hi Natalie ~ You could have a great mud day with all of your little ones!

Hi Beverly ~ I treasure my mud memories! Except when my car gets stuck in the stuff.

Hi Mike ~ I thought most bikers steer clear of the mud! ;)

Hi Willow ~ Let's get ready to do the Happy Spring Dance!

Hi Pouty ~ You have to visit NH in the Spring -there is nothing quite like losing your shoe in the mud as you are rushing to get out of the yard. :)

Hi Maggie May ~ I can't wait to play in the mud with my grandbabies! Mudpies galore!

Hi Gaston Studio ~ Have fun playing in the gooey mud.

Hi Daryl ~ Thanks, I liked the way the photo on my new header came out also. And if you come to NH we will run through the mud puddles barefoot. Some people pay big money for mud treatments, don't they?

Hi Marg ~ I have also wanted to try pottery. If I can ever find the time.

Hi Ake ~ I love playing and I hope I never grow up!

Hi Sandy ~ :) Have fun!

Hi Kahshe ~ I don't even think about washing my floors until after mud season. My dog leaves little muddy prints all over the place and my husband leaves big people prints all over the place!

This is just too cute! I'm not a mud fan but I must say my daughter loves it. She loves to make things with mud...just to funny.
