This was the view out of my window late yesterday afternoon during the snowstorm. At first I saw just one deer and I ran to get my camera. Then I noticed that there was a second deer in the distance and then deer number three made himself/herself visible and I tried to get all three together for a family portrait but they wouldn't cooperate for me. Imagine my surprise when a fourth deer meandered into view. I was wishing I had a wider lens but with or without the pictures, I am quite sure I won't forget any time soon the view outside of my window.
What a fun thng to see! Lucky you!
ReplyDeletefabulous shots...almost dreamy in the haze of snow!
ReplyDeleteA couple months back, I saw a few deer in our backyard and tried to get a picture of 'em. One of the drawbacks with my little digital camera -couldn't get the darned deer to show up in the pics! Yours turned out really good though.
ReplyDeletevery cool we have a family of 5 that live in our yard year around. at night you can usually find them sleeping in the back yard while one keeps watch...
ReplyDeleteWell at least you managed to get 2 so well done! Great shots m'dear.
ReplyDeleteThere are tons of them in my backyard too. Love your pictures :)
ReplyDeleteThe photos are an inspiration. I'm torn between loving the beauty of the deer and grousing about their appetites. It's fortunate that we don't try to have a manicured yard.
ReplyDeleteThat was a lovely sight.
ReplyDeleteI was very sorry to hear that the deer in Scotland are dying because of the long winter & being unable to reach the heather trapped under snow and ice.
Nuts in May
That's quite a storm you've had, but to find the deer and did get those shots is exceptional. Be careful he doesn't jump right through your window.
ReplyDeleteI bet they were thinking 'oh dont we wish we had our camera, there's a human' ... okay maybe not ... great shots ...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! They do look dreamlike there in the falling snow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful deer; ugly weather!
ReplyDeleteOh! That's so magnificent. Forget about the fact that the deer eat the gardens ... they are so enchanting. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteA dreamy, beautiful view.
