Spring Break
Normally Spring Break evokes visions of bikinis, excessive alcohol, wet t-shirt contests and wild partying - all night long. BUT that is not the type of Spring Break I will be taking. My Spring Break will involve digging in the dirt, planting, weeding, raking, cleaning, training for a 5K in May, playing with grand babies, visiting with my parents, AND preparing for the arrival of our newest family member - a precious granddaughter who will be arriving in July ! So...this blogger will be resting her keyboard for a while. I need a break from the world of technology and I need to get back to a simpler life style for a bit. I need to walk barefoot in the dirt, feel the sweat running down my back and when I lay down at night I want to feel the ache in my bones which will remind me that I am alive. When I am able I will visit all of you so I can catch up on all that is happening in your world. So... celebrate each day and take care!
Have a very happy Spring Time! Take care! :-)

ReplyDeleteDeb, I'm sure you're making the right choice for yourself but I will miss your posts. You enjoy playing in the dirt, bouncing that new grandbaby on your knee and don't train too hard!

ReplyDeleteDeb, enjoy your barefoot walk with nature. I love to sit on the ground and plant flowers. The only problem now is trying to get up from the ground. It's nice to have grandbabies to play with, hope to hear from you after some healthy self care. Candace
